The Nebraska football team will wear throwback uniforms from 1962 on September 26th against Louisiana-Lafeyette. That is the game when the Huskers will reach their 300th straight sellout crowd.

The streak started on November 3, 1962 when only 36,501 fans packed Memorial Stadium to see Missouri beat the Huskers 16-7.  The jerseys, which will be auctioned off after the game will be red with white script numbers. The helmet will be white with black numbers and no stripe.

To check out the Addidas jerseys, you can go to huskers.com

Also, several Huskers will be changing numbers this fall including starting quarterback Zac Lee who is going from #3 to lucky #5…lucky as in Marlon Lucky’s old number
