The Nebraska Cornhuskers shot 56% from the field and used an 11-1 run to start the game and an 18-1 run to start the second half in cruising to a 74-39 win over Chicago State. Nebraska held Chicago State to just 24% shooting with no three pointers. Over the past two games, NU’s opponents are a combined 1 of 21 from beyond the arc. Meanwhile, NU was 7 of 16 on three pointers. Lance Jeter led all scorers with 13 points as he hit 5-of-7 shots. Brandon Richardson scored in double figures for the second time this season with 10 points. It’s a short turnaround for the 6-2 Huskers who will host Oregon State on Saturday.
