Nebraska Athletic Director Tom Osborne weighed in on the hiring of former Husker Turner Gill as the new Kansas coach.
“I’m really delighted for Turner and I think Kansas made a great choice and I think Turner will do an outstanding job for them.
Osborne says Gill will take over a program that in recent years has improved its facilities developed a strong fan base and increased its talent level.
When it comes to the Ndamakong Suh missing out on the Heisman Trophy win, Osborne says guidelines need to be established so defensive players get serious consideration for the award.
