Seniors Craig Brester and Stephen Dwyer shined in their final home matches of their career, but Nebraska was unable to sustain an early lead falling to #9 Oklahoma 22-15 on Senior Night at the Devaney Center.
NU jumped out to a 15-0 lead thanks to Brester’s 18-2 technical fall win over sixth ranked Eric Lopotsky. Brester, ranked second in the nation is now 24-0 at 197 pounds. Dwyer picked up his 20th win when he scored seven points in the third period to beat 18th ranked Jeff James, 10-7.
