Governor Dave Heineman is livid over the projected increase in costs to the state for Medicaid that could equal an extra $526 to 766 million over the next ten years.
“This is unfair and I find it unaccaptable that the Federal Government is suggesting that we should cut funding for the education of our children and i’m going to fight this.”
The State hired a private firm to project the increase in costs now that the health care bill has passed. Heineman says the bill should be repealed.
