A woman was airlifted to a hospital in Omaha this morning after her Jeep Liberty crashed nearly head-on into a dump truck. The accident happened along Highway 75 north of Interstate 680. Authorities say the driver of the Jeep clipped wire guard rails, over corrected and ended up in the opposite lanes.
Authorities say the driver of the dump truck veered to avoid hitting the Jeep but that woman veered in the same direction and they ended up hitting nearly head on. The name and condition of the woman is not known. The truck driver was not seriously hurt.
