Game week preparations begin for the season opener Saturday night against Western Kentucky and as you’ll hear on today’s report, it’s been what the Husker coaching staff is calling a physical three weeks of fall camp. In fact this was almost an off weekend for the Huskers. No helmets or pads. On Saturday, the team did a walk through in shorts and t-shirts and took yesterday off all together. The goal for Bo Pelini was to just rest some tired legs so that the team can hit this week’s preparation for Western Kentucky fresh.
Big Red Report on wrapping up fall camp
While Pelini says preparing for the Hilltoppers will be a challenge because they don’t have much to go off of, this should no doubt be an easy win for Nebraska. The game will be available on pay per view for $39.95 and it will be offered in high def for the first time. If you’re interested, click here.
No depth chart released yet, no word on who the starting quarterback will be.
