Governor Dave Heineman says that he disagrees with criticism over his letter to education leaders urging them to call for repeal of federal health care reform.
The Board has approved a resolution in support of repealing the health care law.
“The question is who is willing to stand up publicly and I am willing to stand up publicly and say it ought to be education first, and I would hope education leaders agree with that ’cause otherwise their going to have a tough debate in the legislature.”
The Nebraska Board of education is agreeing with Heineman in their approval of the resolution.
