Nebraska State Auditor Mike Foley is clashing with the Director of Administrative Services who doesn’t want to release health care records of state employees and their family members.
“Well he’s requested the individual health care records on every single employee, their spouse, and their child and that’s just highly inappropriate.”
Castillo tells us that the information is confidential. Foley says he wants to analyze the costs of the state’s health plan. A survey by the National Conference of State Legislatures shows Nebraska with the highest monthly premiums for family coverage for state workers.
