Pelini showing patience with Raymond replacement

Nebraska football coach Bo Pelini said he is under no deadline to find a replacement for secondary coach Corey Raymond who was officially announced as a new assistant coach at LSU under Les Miles. With the start of spring practice starting on March 10, Pelini plans to share defensive back duties with defensive coordinator John Papuchis if no replacement has been hired at that time.

Raymond will handle the same responsibilities at LSU after one year on the NU staff. The 42-year-old Louisiana native, played cornerback and safety for the Tigers from 1988-91 and was an assistant strength coach at the school during the 2007 and 2008 seasons.
