Husker baseball shutouts and sweeps K-State

The Nebraska baseball team completed a season sweep of the Kansas State Wildcats winning the third and final meeting between former Big 12 rivals as the Huskers used five pitchers to win 6-0.

Sophomore Tyler King made his first career start and pitched the first four innings allowing just one hit while striking out three. Tyler Niederklein gave up just one more hit over the next three innings and Ryan Hander, Aaron Bummer and Travis Huber closed out the 8th and 9th.

Michael Pritchard, Rich Sanguinetti and Kash Kalkowski each produced two hits as the Huskers get to 20 wins on the season and return home for a Big Ten weekend series with Iowa.
