Nebraska’s Mary Weatherholt was named athlete of the year by the Big Ten at the conference tennis tournament banquet. Weatherholt, a first-team conference selection, compiled a 10-1 Big Ten singles record and went 9-1 in conference doubles contests. She is the first Husker to earn Big Ten athlete of the year honors.
