Wahoo senior changes mind and chooses Nebraska

Wahoo senior guard Sadie Murren will join Nebraska basketball after a coaching change at Green Bay helped changed her mind to come closer to home. Murren had offers from Illinois and Iowa State as well, but chose the Huskers.

She’ll play alongside current player Emily Cady, who played with Murren on their Cornhusker Shooting Stars team. The 5-foot-7 Murren averaged 17.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.2 steals in leading Wahoo to a 21-5 season. She is also the school’s career record holder in points, steals and assists.
