Presumptive Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney is coming to Nebraska, hoping to pick up a little cash and meet a few of the state’s residents.
Romney will be in Omaha for a fundraising event at the Omaha Hilton. The noon event is hosted by Gov. Dave Heineman, an early supporter of Romney. It will be closed to the public.
Afterward, Romney will hold a public rally along the riverfront at Rick’s Café Boatyard. Seating is limited. The Romney campaign asks those interested in attending to send an email to the campaign: TeamNE@mittromney.com.
Romney is the former governor of Massachusetts who has all but locked up the Republican nomination to face off against President Barack Obama in November.
