Nebraska makes an offer to California prep QB

After coming to Lincoln for a football camp, it didn’t take long for Nebraska coaches to make an offer for quarterback Johnny Stanton of Santa Margarita (CA) Catholic.  Nebraska offensive coordinator likes the way Stanton can run and throw the football and looks like the type of quarterback that would be a good fit for Nebraska’s offense.

The 6’2, 215 pound QB has at least nine offers including Cal, Navy, Oregon State, Air Force and Utah. Stanton also plans to attend Wisconsin’s football camp next week. He has also made stops at camps held by Oregon, Oregon State and UCLA.  Stanton is the No. 35 recruit in California (CA) and is the No. 9 “dual-threat” Quarterback in the nation, according to 247sports.com.
