Saltdogs drop fourth in a row

Lincoln has now lost four in a row and seven of their last eight as the offense continues to struggles as the Saltdogs (12-19) fell to the St. Paul Saints (16-14) 8-3 at Haymarket Park Monday night. The Saints jumped out to an early 3-0 lead on a first-inning homer by Ole Sheldon. They tacked on three unearned runs thanks to two Lincoln errors in the fourth to go ahead 7-0.

Kearney native Ryan Sheldon (3-2) went 3.2 innings, allowing seven runs, four earned, on seven hits while striking out five to suffer the loss.
