Storm Chasers make it six in a row at home

The Omaha Storm Chasers won their sixth straight at Werner Park on Tuesday, the same day a new ownership group was announced, with their 3-2 victory over the Memphis Redbirds. Shortstop Tony Abreu drove in all three Omaha (45-27) runs on a pair of doubles.  Veteran left-hander Doug Davis (2-1) picked up his second win of the season after allowing a lone run in his 6.0 innings on the mound. Francisley Bueno pitched two scoreless innings in relief of Davis while Jeremy Jeffress allowed a run in the ninth but was still able to pick up his second save of 2012.
