UCLA sent home from CWS

Florida State sent UCLA packing Tuesday night with a 4-1 win over the Bruins in an elimination game of the College World Series. Four walks led to a pair of Seminole runs in the first as Bruins starter Zack Weiss was lifted after getting only one out. FSU scored two more runs in the fourth on a bases loaded bunt and a throwing error. That was plenty of offense for Scott Sitz who went 6.2 inning allowing just five hits while striking out eight.
The Seminoles advance to play Arizona Thursday needing two wins over the Wildcats to reach the championship series. Another elimination game is set for tonight between two time defending champion South Carolina and Kent State. Arkansas awaits the winner needing just one win to advance to the championship series.
