While authorities continue to investigate the standoff at an Alliance pharmacy last week, the gunman’s girlfriend remains in jail.
19-year-old Rose Siefke appeared in Box Butte County Court on Tuesday, charged with helping conceal the body of 38-year-old Josh Bullock and hiding his death from police.
Authorities say the gunman, 27-year-old Andres Gonzales, told negotiators during the June 12 standoff that he killed the Denver, Colorado man in December. Bullock’s truck was found burned in Dawes County.
Authorities also believe Gonzales killed his father, 62-year-old Larry Gonzales, before he was killed during the 12-hour standoff.
A grand jury will investigate Gonzales’ death.
Siefke remains in jail on $50,000 bond.
