48 year old Paul Tamayo of Council Bluffs was driving near 67th and West Center Road in Omaha yesterday afternoon when he crashed into a construction zone and hit a dirt pile. Witnesses say Tamayo then got out of his vehicle and walked about a half mile into a field where he collapsed.
Paramedics say his body temperature was 110-degrees. He was rushed to a hospital and later died.
An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death.
