Nebraska’s 2 largest metro areas rank low on national vanity chart

A new survey finds folks in Nebraska’s biggest cities aren’t too stuck on themselves.

Men’s Health magazine ranked 100 American cities for their vanity, based on things like the use of tanning salons, teeth whiteners and Botox.

It also looked at salon visits and per capita rates for plastic surgeons and cosmetic dentists.

Omaha ranked #86 on the survey, while Lincoln was next-to-last as the 99th vainest city on the list. Also at the bottom, Kansas City, Fargo and Sioux Falls in the Dakotas, and Des Moines, Iowa at #100.

The magazine singles out Tampa, Florida, as the country’s most vain city, followed by Plano, Texas; Atlanta, Las Vegas and Dallas.
