Congressman Terry hopes to get ball rolling on Keystone XL oil pipeline

Nebraska’s 2nd District Congressman Lee Terry wants to get the ball rolling again on the Keystone XL Oil Pipeline project. He introduced a bill that would allow construction from the U-S – Canada border to the Nebraska line. By the time the pipeline reached Nebraska Terry says all the logistics regarding the pipeline route should be worked out and construction could then start here.

Congressman Terry time really is running out to prove to TransCanada the U-S is really serious about the pipeline. He says China recently purchased a major oil company in Canada and they continue to push for the pipeline to be re-routed to the Pacific coast and the oil would then be transported to China.
