NU basketball lands recruit from New Zealand

Nebraska basketball landed its third commitment for the 2013 Class, Tai Webster of Auckland, New Zealand. Multiple sources close to the program have confirmed Webster’s commitment in a story reported on HuskersIllustrated.com.  The 6-foot-3 point guard joins guards Nick Fuller and Nathan Hawkins as other members of the first full class under new head coach Tim Miles.  Webster made New Zealand’s national team as a reserve and played in two games of Olympic qualifying play, where Webster averaged 13.5.  In their only win, Webster socred 21 points against Angola.

The Huskers have two more open scholarships for the 2013 class.
