Nebraska quarterback Taylor Martinez was named one of the co-offensive players of the week and kicker Brett Maher was named the special teams player of the week.
Martinez totaled 288 yards of total offense and helped Nebraska rally from a 17-point second-half deficit to defeat Wisconsin on Saturday. He threw for 181 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 107 more and a touchdown. Martinez won his third career Big Ten Offensive player of the week award and second this season.
Maher kicked the game-tying field goal in the third quarter and the game-winning field goal in the fourth quarter. He was 3-for-4 on field goal attempts. He also had three punts for 140 yards, an average of 46.7 yards and one punt inside the 20.
