University of Phoenix Omaha Campus one of 115 closing

The University of Phoenix Omaha campus is one of 115 closing nationwide.

The Omaha campus at 133rd and California only has 65 students but they will be able to finish their education. However, they will no longer accept new students. This is part of the University of Phoenix restructuring where 115 campus and satellite sites will close and that will eliminate hundreds of jobs.

The University of Phoenix also operates the Sarpy County Resource Center in Papillion. Those in Nebraska can still complete their degrees on-line.
