Redshirt freshman QB has big day for Wayne State

Redshirt freshman quarterback Brian Kent accounted for 292 yards of total offense with four touchdowns to lead Wayne State College in a 48-21 Northern Sun Conference football win Saturday afternoon over Concordia-St. Paul at Sea Foam Stadium in St. Paul, Minnesota. The Wildcats move to 5-3 on the season and 2-2 in the NSIC South Division with the win while the host Golden Bears fall to 2-5 overall and 1-3 in the NSIC South.

The story of the game was the play of Kent. The Wauconda, Illinois native rushed for 68 yards on 13 carries with one score while completing 11 of 17 passes for another 224 yards and three more scores while leading the Wayne State offense to 534 yards of total offense in the game.
