Nebraska, Michigan get set for kickoff

William Howard Taft was President of the United States, the very first year of the Indianapolis 500 and the first launch of the R.S.S. Titanic.

It was also the last time the Michigan Wolverines were in Lincoln to play the Huskers.

It ended in a 6-6 tie.

Two of college football’s storied programs will face-off under the light of Memorial Stadium. There’s enormous implication to this game – winner has control of the Legend Division of the Big Ten.

For Michigan, they’re undefeated in Big Ten play and come off an emotional 12-10 win over in-state rival Michigan State. Nebraska comes off an incredible 29-28 comeback win over Northwestern, behind a masterful performance by quarterback Taylor Martinez.

Martinez is not the only duel-threat quarterback on the field tonight. Michigan’s Dennard Robinson is as good as they come. He’s had his troubles on the road, though. The Blackshirts will look to capitalize on any mistakes he could make in this game.

Nebraska Radio Network will have all the audio and post-game reaction following tonight’s game. You can follow reporter Jonathan Daniels on Twitter (@JonDanielsKLIN) for live scoring and updates throughout the game.
