Nebraska-Kearney volleyball comes up short at regionals

Nebraska-Kearney fell 3-1 to host Concordia St. Paul in the NCAA Division II Central Regional Championship. The Lopers hit .246 and had eight blocks in the 25-18, 23-25, 19-25 and 20-25 loss.

Jenna Rouzee led the way with a double-double finishing with 49 assists and 14 digs also adding five kills. Ariel Krolikowski had a match high 21 kills while Ellie Pesavento hit .321 with 11 kills. Ashley Leitner hit .406 with 14 kills in the match. MJ Massenet had 17 digs and four blocks and Liz McGowan added 18 digs.

The Lopers finish the season 35-3 and won both the regular season and post-season MIAA Championships.
