Nebraska’s 2013 recruiting class added another Fort Lauderdale Cypress Bay cornerback Boaz Joseph to its list, as he became the 24th commit. A 6-foot-1, 180-pound three-star prospect, Joseph took an official visit to NU Jan. 18. He also had offers from Louisville, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Purdue, Minnesota and Missouri. He could end up playing the corner or safety position in the Huskers’ system.
His head coach Mark Guandolo told HuskerOnline.com, “He could play all positions, but his true position is a corner. He’s pushing 6-foot-2, almost 200-pounds. So he’s a big physical corner. He has got great speed, he’s a 4.4 kid. His game is bump and run and in press coverage. He makes it hard for receivers to get off the line. Then he has the all-out speed to run with them. Then he’s physical. He’s a hitter, he’s aggressive, and he can man handle receivers.”
