Myvalleysports.com, a news website in Youngstown, Ohio, first reported that Braylon Heard was transferring from Nebraska’s program. On Monday, Husker coach Bo Pelini told the Lincoln Journal Star he did not hear the report.
According to the story, the Cardinal Mooney alum wants to play closer to home. Heard will be a junior. He rushed 52 times last year and was second on the team with 6.7 yards per rush. The Omaha World Herald confirmed the story late Tuesday.
