Former Husker cornerback Alfonzo Dennard was cited and released on suspicion of DUI. Lincoln Police pulled Dennard over around 2 a.m., Wednesday morning, near 50th and Normal Boulevard in Lincoln.
Police say they observed the car he was driving swerving and straddling the center line. Dennard refused a chemical test, was taken into custody and was released this morning.
Dennard, who plays for the New England Patriots, was sentenced back in April to 30 days in jail and two years probation after he was found guilty of assaulting a police officer, a felony and resisting arrest.
