For 50 years, Ray and Mildred Lambrecht ran a Chevrolet dealership in Pierce, Nebraska. The Lambrecht’s held on to many of the cars traded over the years and on September 28th and 29th, 500 vehicles will go on the auction block.
Yvette VanDerBrink with VanDerBrink Auctions is conducting the sale and says vehicles dating back to the 1950’s will be sold and some have low miles – meaning five or ten. She says about 50 of the vehicles are in very good condition as they were kept inside. Most of the other vehicles were kept outside and have some wear and tear due to the elements but only have a handful of miles.
1964 Impala with 10 miles
1978 Corvette Pace Car with 5 miles
1966 Chevelle with 4 miles
1978 Malibu with 11 miles
A 1964 Chevrolet truck with 4 miles
And the list goes on and on.
VanDerBrink says the Lambrecht’s also held on to promotional material, signage, vehicle manuals, tools and much more. All those items will be sold on the first day of the auction. She says interest is extremely high and they have received inquiries from around the world. The auction will be held in Pierce but those who can’t make the trip can participate online at “proxibid.com”.
