There appears to be more support for what is known as the “Enforce the Law Act” in Washington D-C. Nebraska U-S Senator Mike Johanns is co-sponsoring the bill that would hold the executive branch accountable to following the laws that are stated in the U-S Constitution. Senator Johanns says the president doesn’t have the authority to decide which laws to enforce and which to ignore as he has done with Obamacare and immigration. This Act would allow either the U-S House or Senate to sue the executive branch if the Constitution isn’t upheld.
The U-S House passed the Enforce the Law Act Wednesday by a 223 to 181 vote. The executive branch threatened a veto.
