It was a doubleheader split for the Nebraska softball team as they cooled off Wisconsin with a 12-0 win in game one, before seeing their 11-game win streak end as the Badgers bounced back with a 6-4 win in the second game.
In game one, Taylor Edwards hit a second-inning grand slam, her twin sister Tatum launched a two-run homer in the fourth and sophomore Hailey Decker added a grand slam of her own in the fifth.
In the second game, Tatum Edwards (19-10) took the loss, allowing six runs (five earned) on nine hits in a complete-game effort. She hit another home run in the second game which tied the game at 4-4 in the fifth.
Following a 4-1 road trip, Nebraska returns home this weekend to close out the regular season with a three-game series against the Indiana Hoosiers
