Two of John Cook’s stolen volleyball rings recovered as an arrest is made

29 year old Dallas Jordan, who was on the construction crew that did renovation work at the Devaney Center, was charged with felony theft and is accused of stealing five of Nebraska volleyball coach John Cook’s championship rings from a display case that was left unlocked at the Devaney center last fall.

Jordan sold two of the rings to an undercover police officer who was posing as a member of the Hell’s Angel motorcycle gang back in March. The three other rings have not been recovered by police. Jordan remained in jail as of Monday night, having not posted the $300 bail that was set.
