The Denver Bronco’s quarterback was in Omaha on Thursday and says, “I never thought a football play call word would turn into a way to raise money for kids that are going through tough times. It surely could have been free publicity for the city but you didn’t stop there and I truly thank you for it”
Seventeen Omaha companies made a donation to Manning’s Payback Foundation for each “Omaha” shout he barked out during two post season games. Those companies presented Manning with a check for $68,000.
Manning was also presented with a key to the city.
