Creighton Prep senior QB leads North to win in Shrine Bowl game

Easton Stick, the former Creighton Prep QB star, threw for 124 yards and ran for 94 and a touchdown in the North’s 30-7 win in the 56th annual Shrine Bowl football game.  Stick was named the offensive player of the game.  QB Brad Brazeal threw for 123 yards and a touchdown as he and Stick combined for 21 of 30 passing for 247 yards and two touchdowns.

Wide receiver RJ Urzendowski tied a Shrine Bowl record with eight catches for 112 yards. He caught a 34 yard TD with just over six minutes to play from Brazeal. Urzendowski and Stick, teammates at Creighton Prep, will play together at North Dakota State.

Jalen Allison of Papillion-La Vista had an interception, three tackles and two pass breakups, and was named defensive player of the game.
