Nebraska-Kearney and Wayne State volleyball start in the top 25 poll

The Nebraska-Kearney volleyball team is ranked ninth in the AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) Top 25 preseason poll and Wayne State College volleyball team is ranked 20th.   Last year, UNK went 28-7 and finished the year ranked eighth.  Wayne State finished the 2013 season with a 22-10 overall record, finishing sixth in the NSIC with a 12-8 league mark.

The Lopers received 783 points. This marks UNK’s 266th week in the AVCA poll.  The Wildcats return four starters from last year’s team that finished the season ranked 21st in the final AVCA Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll.
