If the Chinese market is something your business, farm, or ranch is interested in, you have a chance to get your foot in the door this November.
The state departments of Agriculture and Economic Development (DED) are inviting you to attend the upcoming trade mission to three Chinese cities.
DED Director Courtney Dentlinger says creating a market there will grow Nebraska’s economy.
“China is the second largest economy in the world and our fourth largest trading partner already,” Dentlinger told reporters at a news conference. “It offers incredible opportunities for Nebraska businesses to grow their companies.”
She says her department can help small businesses begin the process.
“DED has an international team with vast knowledge, experience, and relationships in doing business in China.”
“So that we can help to coordinate your visit, line up businesses for you to talk to, help introduce you to government officials,” Dentlniger says.
Approximately 50 people have expressed interest in going to China, according to Dentliner.
She says the cost for an individual depends on the total number of going.
