The Nebraska baseball team will find out Monday if it will get an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament. The Huskers were forced to wait it out after losing to Michigan State and Indiana in the Big Ten Tournament.
Nebraska coach Darin Erstad feels the Huskers’ 37-20 record and second place finish in the Big Ten regular season race is enough to get them into the tournament.
“We played strong down the stretch and if you are looking at RPI I think we have put ourselves in a good position there”, said Erstad. “I just feel like we can play with anybody in the country and I don’t think the Big Ten gets credit for how good it really is.”
The NCAA Division I Baseball Championship Selection Show is scheduled for Monday on ESPNU at 11:00 a.m.
