Nebraska native Hannah Huston has several big decisions to make now that her journey on “The Voice” is over. Before becoming a contestant, the Grand Island native was a preschool teacher in Lincoln. Huston says she now has to weigh her options carefully deciding what path to take.
Huston says, “I really love teaching and I really love music. Before “The Voice” I was teaching and trying to find time to do shows and music so we’ll see what happens. I’m not putting too much pressure on anything. I’m taking it slow, making wise decisions and moving forward.”
Huston also has great things to say about her The Voice mentor and coach Pharrell Williams. She says the experience allowed her to grow. Huston says she became more comfortable in her own skin and with her voice. She says it was a big confidence booster and realized it is ok to be good and to know it.
Huston says she will be back in Nebraska at sometime this summer and will have to make a decision on her future prior to school starting this fall.
