He’s not old enough to vote, but Dallas Jones still wanted to be part of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.
The 17-year-old Lincoln Southeast student is one of two Nebraskans working as pages for the RNC. Jones says it’s an honor to be part of the convention.
Jones says he’d love to attend future conventions, and plans to use his experience to encourage more students to get involved in politics.
Jones says his dad has helped him become interested in politics and he’d like to use his experience to get more students involved.
Thirty-six Nebraskans are serving as delegates at this week’s RNC.
