A valuable classic car stolen from a Lincoln restoration shop has been found; wrecked in a fatal accident in Minnesota.
The Faribault County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies found the 1968 Chevrolet Camaro after responding to a car crash in southern Minnesota.
Dead is 26-year-old Tanner Goodrich, who was the lone occupant in the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office reported the Camaro stolen from Restore a Muscle Car in Lincoln. The Minnesota State Patrol investigated the crash. It has yet to be determined whether Goodrich stole the car.
According to his sex offender registration, Goodrich had moved to Minnesota from Nebraska.
The value of the Camaro was pegged at $80,000.
