As Nebraska shifts the focus to the opener against Fresno State offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf says the biggest area of concern right now is the Huskers’ two-minute offense. It is an area that Langsdorf says struggled in Saturday’s scrimmage.
“It has been our worst period and we have had way too many turnovers”, said Langsdorf. “We are trying to push the ball down the field in a short amount of time and the pressure is on to make some plays.”
Langsdorf says the offense needs to do a better job of “taking what is there” and not force the ball into traffic.
“We are not finding enough completions and getting out of bounds. We are trying to chuck the ball down the middle of the field late and it is not good.”
