An arrest has been made in the burglary of Jordon Foltz’ home, which took place as Jordan attended the Husker football game Saturday which paused to honor his brother, Sam, killed in a car wreck earlier this year.
Greeley County Sheriff David Weeks reports York County arrested 38-year-old Scott Davis of Lennox, South Dakota very early Sunday morning during a traffic stop on I-80. Davis originally was stopped on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The Foltz family was in Lincoln Saturday for the Huskers’ season opener. The break-in took place sometime after the family left for Lincoln at around noon Thursday and before the family returned in the early morning hours of Sunday.
Jordan Foltz reports approximately $1,400 in items were taken, including a television set and tools from his vehicle.
Sam Foltz was named Big Ten punter of the year last season. He died along with former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler in a one-vehicle wreck in Merton, Wisconsin July 23rd. LSU kicker Colby Delahoussaye was injured in the crash. They had participated in a kicking clinic.
