State Treasurer Don Stenberg has been elected Midwestern Region Vice President of the National Association of State Treasurers (NAST) at the association’s annual conference.
Oklahoma State Treasurer Ken Miller, has been elected president of the association.
The new officers begin their terms the first of the new year.
Stenberg, elected Nebraska State Treasurer in 2010 and re-elected in 2014, is Past President of the National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators, a national association of state officials charged with collecting unclaimed property for its rightful owners.
Stenberg previously served as NAST Midwest Vice President in 2015.
NAST provides advocacy and support for state treasurers and treasury staffs throughout the United States and its territories.
