After a near miss against nationally ranked Wisconsin the Nebraska basketball team is at home against Penn State. The Huskers have dropped eight of their last nine and are 4-8 in the Big Ten and host a Nittany Lion team that is 6-7 following wins over Maryland and Illinois.
“I am looking forward to the game”, said Nebraska coach Tim Miles. “We obviously need a win and they need a win. I just feel like every night we go out we will put ourselves in a position to win and hopefully our fans will come out and give them heck.”
That’s Husker coach Tim Miles who says Penn State has made great strides under sixth year coach Pat Chambers.
“I think this is Pat’s best team since I have been here”, added Miles. “Their athleticism is outstanding.”
Tipoff in Pinnacle Bank Arena is 8:06p.m. The game will be televised by the Big Ten Network.
