Teenagers from across Nebraska will travel to Lincoln on Wednesday to take on big tobacco with a march and rally at the State Capitol. Molly Kincaid is the project coordinator for No Limits, Nebraska’s youth led tobacco prevention movement and will take part in the annual “Kick Butts Day” event on March 15th.
Kincaid says, “We are busing in about 75 students from around the state. The students are hoping to stand up to big tobacco companies and they are tired of falling victim to their manipulative marketing tactics.”
Kincaid says their day will start at 8 a.m. when they meet with state senators to share information about tobacco related issues. At 9:45, the No Limits group will march through the downtown Lincoln area before returning to the State Capitol for a rally on the steps.
