Nebraska volleyball coach John Cook announced that his daughter Lauren Cook was coming home to play volleyball for the Huskers after spending her freshmen year at UCLA where she had an outstanding Freshmen season. Cook also announced the arrival of a new player and another who is forced to retired.

Four Huskers named volleyball All-Americans

Four members of the Nebraska volleyball squad were honored as American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Americans.  Sophomore middle blocker Brooke Delano was a second-team selection, junior setter Sydney Anderson was a third team pick and senior middle blocker Kori Cooper and freshman outside hitter Hannah Werth were chosen as honorable-mention selections.

Huskers stopped by Texas again

For the second time in eight days, Texas has beaten Nebraska in a high profile contest. Last Saturday it was football. Last night in Omaha, it was in the volleyball regional finals. The 10th seeded Huskers fell to the 2nd seeded Texas Longhorns 3-1 in the regional finals of the NCAA tournament.

Huskers sweep past Cyclones

The Husker volleyball team used balanced offense and strong defense to sweep Iowa State 3-0 in the semifinals of the Omaha Regional at Qwest Center. Husker volleyball back to regionals for 16th straight time

The No. 7 Nebraska volleyball team is set for their regional semifinals this weekend in Omaha starting with Iowa State tonight.  It will be the third meeting between these two squads.  The  Huskers are playing in their 16th consecutive NCAA Regional, a streak that more than doubles any other program in the nation.
