One Miracle Baby Released From Omaha Hospital

June 10, 2008 By Karla James

A special homecoming for one of the four quadruplets born at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha last February.  Little Brett Woolen was released from the center this week.  He is the son of Lee and Rachel Wollen of Holdrege.  Brett, Kaden, Parker and Cooper were all born 17 weeks premature and weighed less than a pound and a half at birth.  Brett is now over seven pounds and thriving.  Rachel Wollen says the babies continue to improve and they are doing better than first expected.  She adds it is has been a long road for the children.  No word yet on when the remaining three quadruplets will be released from the hospital and join Brett at home.
